'Error reading raw data stream electrode raw data. Excluded from conversion'
I get this error message when trying to convert MCD files to RAW or TXT in MC_DataTool. It only applies to MCD files recorded with MC_Rack 3.8 (specifically 3.8.1.0) - files recorded with 3.7 or 3.9 are fine.
Help?

Dear iPlant,
can you sent us a short (1 channel and 2s is enough) mcd file and the rack you used to record to allow us to reproduce the problem?
please just mail the files to support@multichannelsystems.com
Please also specify which version of the Datatool you used.
Thank you and sorry for the problems you experienced

The data can be recovered by replaying them in a current version of MC_Rack and record them in the replayer to a new file.
In the original files from MC_Rack 3.8.1 MC_DataTool has problems with the last 100ms of the files. After replaying the format is corrected and MC_DataTool can export it correctly.
