MEA_select hangs and reboots the PC!

Hi,

I use MEA_select version 1.1.0. Everytime I lift the amplifier and change to a new MEA, the MEA_select hangs and the PC reboots on its own. I cant even save the rack file during this. If i save, it turns out to be an empty rack.

This happens :

(a) even when i press the'change MEA' tab before lifting the amplifier
(b) only when the 'record' button is pressed during the recording
(c) after ~10 mins of start of the first data recording

I am using a USB to serial port adapter. I tried changing it, but the problem persists.

As I know, "USB to serial " is not a good solution.

You may try "PCIE to serial" or "PCI to serial", we are using this, everything is fine!

The procedure of changing MEA we used:

Stop Recording -> "Change MEA" -> Release the meachip and change a new one -> "Change MEA" -> Start Recording
