MEA specifications
Hi
My name is Asaf Shoval and I am working with Eshel Ben-Yaacov group from the physics department of the Tel-Aviv university, Israel. I will appricate if you could provide me the specification for the 4 quarter electrode which was designed especially for Eshel's group. I will need especially the following data -
1. the size of the reference electrode
2. the resistance and capacitance of the traces. (if you don't have it, I will need the dimensions and materials from which the traces are made of)
Best regards
Asaf

Re: MEA specifications
Dear Asaf,
please apologize the delay in answering your questions.
I would like to send you a detailed drawing of your design, if you provide us with your e-mail adress (meyer@multichannelsystems.com).
In the meantime, I will try to answer the additional questions:
Connectors are made from titanium. Due to the design the total length varies from electrode to electrode. There are three areas with different width : Area 1 has 10um, Area 2 100um and Area 3 has 300um wdth.
The total area of the reference electrode is 7,1806 square mm.
The insulator is a 600nm thick layer of silicium nitride.
Greetings
Thomas

Hi Thomas
"The total area of the reference electrode is 7,1806 square mm"
Are you sure it is in the right units? sounds to large to me.
Thanks
Asaf
