PGA power supply
Hi,
I am using a PGA with an external power supply (PS20W). The PGA output is sent to a ME64_USB acquisition system, powered by a PS40W external power supply. Then, data are sent to a PC. I'm wondering why I have to supply the PGA with PS20W..Couldn't I use only the PS40W to energise all the devices connected to ME64_USB (i.e the PGA or a custom filter amplifier board) ?
thank you
Giulia

Re: PGA power supply
Dear Giulia,
of course one power supply is enough. The PS40W attached to the USB-ME64 is not actually supplying any power for the DAQ itself, but only to any attached device. So you can skip the PS20W attached to the PGA.
Best regards Frank
