can't see the effect of filtering
Hello,
I'm attempting to remove a 60 Hz noise from one of my channels, and used a high band pass butterworth filter set to 60 Hz. I don't see any attenuation of the noise when I replay the file. The MC Rack set up looks like this: Recorder ==> Replayer ==> Filter ==> Spike Detector ==> Spike analyzer.
I've also attempted, just for kicks, to try to remove other oscillations at much higher frequencies, but again see no evidence of attenuation.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Brad.

Dear Brad,
did you select the filtered data stream in the channels tab of the display/spike detector? By default, only the raw data is shown.
