Cannot export averaged data
I`ve tried to average cardiac signals as it is described in the MC_Rack Tutorial. But I have sometimes a problem with the saved/exported data file. I usually import the data into an excel file in order to display the wave form of the field potential, but sometimes there are no data extracted. So, I don`t know why some recorded signals can be exported and others cannot. Please help me!
Another question that I have is: Does anyone see a clear T wave using neonatal rat cardiomyocytes on MEAs? As I`m not sure whether the small maximum of the extended "T wave" after the sodium peak is the one that i`m looking for...

NRVM, Averager
Dear Irrina,
the MC_Rack sofftware will refresh the main memory every 5 seconds. If there was no signal for more than 5s the data in the intermediate memory will be lost. There are two ways around that:
1.) Stop the replayer quickly after a trace was added to the averager and export from the averager window by clicking on the disk icon
2.) set the number of traces to be averaged to a number smaller than the total number of beats in you file, record the datastream averager and convert to ascii using MC_Data tool.
Regarding the shape of NRVM signals. I am happy to send you a ppt with some typical signals with clear t-waves to give you an example how it should look like. Please contact us at support@multichannelsystems.com, so we have your e-mail address.
Greetings
Thomas

Dear Thomas,
thank you very much for your reply! I will try it.
I`ve also sent you my e-mail address for the ppt and I am very grateful for getting help with the analysis!
