Hi,

I was wondering if it is okay to use a corona treater (http://www.electrotechnicproducts.com/bd-20ac-laboratory-corona-treater/) to clean the MEA. I don't know how well it would work, but we don't have ready access to a plasma chamber, and this is the closest thing to plasma we have (it's typically used to activate polymer surface etc). Would trying to use this to plasma-clean the MEA cause any damage? Is it worth a shot?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,
sorry, we have no experienece with such a device, so I can give you no guarantees. I would simply take an old, hydrophobic MEA and give it a try. However, soaking he arrays overnight in water usually makes the surface hydrophilic enough, and is sell risky.
