How to directly import 'med' data to MATLAB Empty How to directly import 'med' data to MATLAB

Hi all,

Anyone have ideas how to directly import 'mcd' data to MATLAB?
I wanna import continuous data saved by MC_Rack to MATLAB.
I tried converting the 'mcd' data to ASCII by MC_DataTool, and then importing to Matlab. But it burned lots of time!

Thanks in advance!

Dear Neurozy,

There are two basic options to solve this problem:

The easiest approach is to work with Uli egerts MEA Tools. they are a Matlab Toolbox based utility and can import mcd files directly. For free download and details see here:
http://www.brainworks.uni-freiburg.de/projects/mea/meatools/title_contents.html

The second option is based on our DLL which you find under MC Stream support:
C:\Program Files\Multi Channel Systems\MCRack\MCStreamSupport\Matlab

Here you will fin also a readme file documenting the use of the DLL.

Greetings
