Dear sir:

I have manually installed the meatools.
but when I type this int the Matlab command line:
D=datastrm('E:/McdData²âÊÔ/20030930raw_spike.mcd');

some error appears like this:
--------------------------------
??? Could not get Filename string.

Error in ==> datastrm.datastrm at 285
retStruct=mcstreammex(tmp);
----------------------
Could you help me to solve this problem?

I agree, that this typing of path and filenames is a bit inconvenient, but there is a way around it if you just define variable D.

Select in Display functions : "Data Stream Summary" and use the browse function to create Variable D
than you just have to type in D where the file / path is required
