problem reading file content

Some of my files do not contain data or contain unaccessible data.
My continuous data files can be replayed in MC Rack, exported by MC_Data_Tool and imported into Matlab.
My files with triggered traces are hit or miss. In most of my triggered data files, the headers are accurate but no data is plotted using replayer in MC Rack and I receive errors like the following when I open the triggered-data files in MC_DataTool.
"Error reading Sweep 0. Excluded from conversion"
"Error reading sweep 0. Stopped conversion."
I am suspicious of my threshold settings for the trigger because the triggered data files that can be read usually contain large, nearly saturating data. I use the Sync Out from the STG 1008 as the trigger and the stimulus occurs 50msec after the Sync Out pulse.
Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Re: problem reading file content
Dear Mrs. McLaughlin
The MC_DataTool error message you mentioned is evoked when a sweep is corrupted or when the file is empty. Empty files result for example due to missing trigger events while recording. Can you check the size of the files? An empty file has a size of about 68kB. If the files are much larger please send us an example file so that we can analyze the problem.
