Opening MC_Rack 1.7 recorded files with MC_Rack 3.5

According to http://www.mcs-download.com/download_data/software/mc_rack/MC_Rack-ReadMe_3-5-6.htm

"MC_Rack 3.5 supports only data (.mcd) files recorded with MC_Rack 1.7 or later versions".

1) Does it imply that the data recorded with earlier version of MC_Rack than 1.7 cannot be opened with mcintfac ?

The problem is that we do have such older recordings ...

2) May we possible register the old ( e.g. MC_Rack 3.4) MCStream.dll to be able to open the files?

3) Is there any way to get older versions of MC_Rack software from multichannelsystems web site?

1.) Yes, this implies that the version of MCStream.dll distributed with MC_Rack 3.5 can only open files which are recorded with MC_Rack 1.7 or later versions.
2.) Older versions of mcintfac and MCStream.dll (e.g. distributed with MC_Rack 3.4) should work.
3.) You can get older versions of MC_Rack. But we will offer no support for these versions. Mail to support@multichannelsystems.com.
