Electrodes sense each other
Hi there
Seems like electrodes in my MEA 1060 are interconnected somehow, maybe because of the salt bridges in the circuitry. That is touching one electrode causes several electrodes to responde.
Did anybody have same problem?
I would appreciate any suggesions

Re: Electrodes sense each other
Dear BG,
of course the electrodes are supposed to be isolated. However, due to the close proximity you cannot avoid a minimal crosstalk between electrodes (should be way under 1%).
Can you describe your experiment in a bit more detail? (which "primary" signal amplitude, on which electrodes did you observe crosstalk, what amplitude...)
In rare cases the insulator layer can be damaged after multiple use and cleaning cycles. This would lead to an much higher level of inter-electrode-crosstalk.
If you like to send us some screenshots of the problem please feel free to mail them in to support@multichannelsystems.com. We will be glad to discuss the issue based on more details.
