Can Mea120 system record data with MEA in incubator
Can we record data from the MEA while it is in the incubator?
If so what precautions should we observe to ensure that the electronics that mate to the MEA are protected?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks

Hello,
are we talking about a regular MEA amplifier(s), and an incubator with 100% humidity?

Hello,
Yes we have the regular MEA amplifiers, and currently the incubator has 85% humidity. Is there a humidity that the amps could tolerate?

Re: Can Mea120 system record data with MEA in incubator
Hi,
in theory, if everything has the same temperature and no condensation happens, things could work fine, but I would not try that on an expensive piece of hardware. And obviously, any resulting damage would not be on guarantee. I would suggest using a dry incubator and cover the cells with the membranes that prevent evaporation (ALA-MEA-MEM, http://www.multichannelsystems.com/products-mea/product-details/products/189/ala-mea-mem5.html). That should work.
