MEA Select baud and switching rate

I'm trying to use MEA Select to set my stimulus channels, but I get a lot of failed attempts. I'm wondering what baud rate and communication protocol the program is attempting to use.

Also, I've written my own com port within Matlab, and so even if MEA Select automatically detects these parameters, I still need them so that I can properly set up the serial port.

Lastly, I would like to send a distributed 15Hz stimulus across many electrodes, so I need to be able to switch which electrode is tied to StimA and StimB very rapidly. What are the speed limitations on this switching?
