Hello;

For a multichannel brain bipolar stimulation, how can we separate ground of each channel ?, i.e: stimulating two couple of electrode (deep brain electrode ) with two different channel, how i guarantee that current from channel 1 will not flow to the ground of channel 2 ?

Regards,
Ahmed

Dear Ahmed,
if you use bipolar stimulation, you don't need to connect the ground at all (see STG manual), just connect the positive output of ane STG channel to one electrode, and the negative output to the other. However, if you use two bipolar electrodes at exactly the same time (and only then), there will probably also be an electrical field between both bipolar electrodes. But depending on the distance between the two, this field will be neglectable in comparison to the field between the two poles of one bipolar stimulation electrode.
