STG2004 unrecognized by Windows7 32bit
Hi,
After downloading and installing the latest version of MCS-StimulusII (3.4.0), when i plug my STG2004 I get a "USB Device Not Recogized" message and MCS_Stimulus is unable to connect.
should i download and install a driver manually?
Regards,
avner

Possible Hardware Problem
The STG2004 does work with Windows 7 both 32 and 64 bit and the MC_Stimulus II Version 3.4.0.
The error message "USB Device Not Recogized" looks like a hardware problem. Please check the USB connection on the STG 2004 and on the PC side. Do you have an USB hub in between the STG and the PC? If yes, try the connection without the hub or replace the hub.
You could connect the STG to an other PC for testing to see if it works there.
When the driver is missing, Windows 7 shows the STG under "Other devices" as STG2004.
Please let me know what you find out.

works fine with other computers
thanks for your quick response.
the STG works fine with other 2 computers (which have windowsXP on them).
when i look in the device manager (under USB devices) it says 'unkown device', with no driver installed for it.
