how long will the solution of Tergazyme at 4°C store?
Hey, everyone,
i am wondering, whether the solution of Terg-A-Zyme can only one week long (according to the Cleaning Quick Guide) at 4°C store, it is really costly, when i have to make neu solution every week, have someone here the solution more then 2 weeks or langer stored? how ist the effect?

Dear Adam,
we prepare about 200mL of the solution every week. As one box gives you about 200L and cost 20,-EUR the cost is roughly 0,02 EUR - so not that expensive.
As enzymes are most efficient at room temperature or higher we store this with the MEAs that are cleaned at room temperature and not in the refrigerator (refrigerator just for storage if no MEAs are in the solution). This comes with a risk of bacterial contmination and enzyme degradation. Considering the low cost, I suggest not to use it substantially longer than the suggested time of one week.
Greetings

Hey, Thomas,
thank you for your answer, with "costly" i want to say "annoying ", sorry for the misunderstanding.
So i will make 100ml solution every week, i just don't need so much, because i have only 5 Chips on duty, Actually 10ml will be fine, but i think 0.1g powder is no easy to weigh.
