Multichannel experimenter: Bugs and crashes
Hello,
I am experiencing problems with the Multichannel experimenter.
I was using the 2.2 version
First, when I was doing recording of only analog channels, I couldn't get all my signals with a sample rate of 25k, and the weird thing is that a 10k rate worked. I thaught it should be the inverse. Is there a limitation with the analog channels ? Where do you think that this problem come from ? We use USB 3.0 cable in a USB 3.0 port, and the computer is new.
Second thing, depending on if we use the timer or manual acquisition, the frame rate was not the one we choosed. The data I got from 10k rate were shaped like 25k. With manual acquisition only I could get the 10k rate.
Third, the aquisition time displayed in the software is wrong. It change with the frame rate. I don't know how you handle it in the software but its not good when you set the recording time with the recorder.
So I updated the software to the newest version, and it works even less..... When I start the aquisition, the software crash (less often if I don't touch the sample rate, but at this point it looks more like I am cursed). I tried the reboot/uninstall-reinstall fix but it persist.

Hello,
if you could also provide previous versions of the software it would be nice. Otherwise I have to wait for the next release...

Re: Multichannel experimenter: Bugs and crashes
Hello,
I tried switching back and forth the sampling rate, no problems at all. Be aware that the Suite is certified for Win 8.1 and higher only, though. USB3.0 drivers (which are 3rd party) are notoriously unreliable under Win7, we repeatedly faced similar issues with Win7 PCs. Do you have the option to check the device under Win 8 or 10?

Re: Multichannel experimenter: Bugs and crashes
Ok thanks, I will try with a windows 8. But in the doc it don't say :
One of the following Microsoft Windows ® operating systems is required: Windows 10, 8.1 or
Windows 7 (English and German versions supported) with the NT file system (NTFS).
Please update the doc, and specify it more clearly on the download page. But anyway I get the issue with windows 7.
Cheers,
Tom-tbt
