MCS-IFB/MEA2100 Noise depending on "list mode"on or off
We have MCS-IFB combined with 64 channel MEA2100 headstage with a weird noise problem. When using MEA 200/30 60 channels, the noise levels are extremely high compared to our old unit; 75-85 uV at SD 5.5 setting. This is with or without external reference and without stimulation. However, when we click on "list mode" and "download" in the channels tab of the stimulation add-on, noise levels drop to normal; meaning 10 uV for a 29000 series MEA ( 200/30 60 channels) or older and 30 uV for a 33000 series MEA (which is too high as well but for another topic). And in this last setting I'm not stimulating, just recording. What are we doing wrong?
kind regards

Dear Gerco,
I tried to reproduce this with a high noise MEA, but didn't see any effect when switching on the List Mode. Which MC_Rack version are you using? Could you send me your rack file (support@multichannelsystems.com)?
