Automatic from triggered to continuous recording
Hi,
For some reason MC_Rack saved my recordings in the continuous mode. Normally, my settings are so that MC_Rack records and saves my data in the triggered mode. I did not change any settings and restarting MC-Rack solves this problem. However, I now have very big data files from these continuous mode recordings, which are almost completely empty (the data is still in there though). Is it possible to restore my data from these files (so kick out the empty parts and make my files smaller?). Thanks.
Marinka

Re: Automatic from triggered to continuous recording
Dear Marinka,
fortunately that's easy. You can treat the replayed data the same way as live data, and use the recorder in triggered mode to generate a new triggered file from the continuous file. I assume your trigger is present as datastream in the continuous file? Then just replay the cont. file, start the recorder and record in triggered mode on the trigger in the cont file. I hope that was clear. Please let me know if you encounter any problems.
Best regards Frank MCS
